To edit this picture, I opened my picture folder in Bridge and opened the jpeg in Camera Raw from there. This makes editing colors and shadows a lot easier, since there are a bunch of sliders to play with, all in one place. That's pretty much what I did: mess with the saturation, brightness, hue (made it more violet), and even made a little vignette.
Virginia, you just showed how amazing camera raw is! I had no idea that you could take a picture that dark and get that much color out of it. I think this is a great picture with a very fun angle. We often don't think to take pictures of flowers from that angle... so I really like that you did!
ReplyDeleteWow, this is an amazing job of editing the flowers! I can't believe the color and light you were able to pull out of the darker original. The vignette adds a nice touch and your angle is very interesting. I really like how you took the shot from underneath!
